Maltepe Orhangazi Anatolian Imam Hatip High School began its educational journey in the 2010-2011 academic year with 30 students. In subsequent years, due to high demand, our student body has grown to reach 1,000.
Our school is well-equipped in terms of physical and social facilities and is considered one of the distinguished schools in Istanbul. It boasts a wide range of amenities, including a conference hall with a capacity of 600, a dormitory for 165 students, a dining hall capable of serving 400 people simultaneously, and an indoor sports complex located in the school garden, which is operated by the Maltepe Imamet and Hitabet Foundation.
We have a management plan that is rich in social and cultural activities. Our students engage in productive social time outside of class hours through competitions, field trips, tournaments, and various courses.
Our school consistently increases its success in university placement every year. For the past four years, our university placement rate has been 65% or higher.
Maltepe Orhangazi Anatolian Imam Hatip High School began the 2017-2018 academic year designated as a Science and Social Sciences Program School. Furthermore, in the 2018-2019 academic year, the school set sail for new achievements as a "Hafiz Project School" with 30 Hafiz students. As of the 2022-2023 academic year, an English Preparatory Department was added alongside the Science, Social Sciences, and Hafiz programs, beginning to train students in the field of foreign languages as well.
Since its establishment, Maltepe Orhangazi Anatolian Imam Hatip High School has been conducting projects that support the academic, social, cultural, and spiritual development of its students. In particular, our Hafiz studies and foreign language projects have become the hallmark of our school. These initiatives have contributed significantly to the development of our students' individual and social skills. Thanks to the experience of our teaching staff and the support of our Parent-Teacher Association, past projects have been completed successfully.
